What seemed to be a normal day was far from normal. During a boring morning meeting @Damatowilliam came up and showed me his phone and in small caption I read a TMZ report saying Randy Poffo aka randy savage had passed away. I almost collapsed and I'm far from exaggerating. Maybe it was held in emotions from other situations in my life I held back or the fact that my idol had fallen.

Early memories of my childhood actually my only memories were of watching Superstars on Saturday mornings. Wrestlers at this time for me were larger than life Starting off with the immortal Hulk Hogan. Of course I was taking my vitamins and saying my prayers and all of my prayers were for Hogan to beat The Macho Man Randy Savage. I still remember booing my television whenever I would hear the "Pomp and Circumstance" entrance theme, but at this time I had no idea what kind of wrestler he really was. It wasn't until the invention of the Mega powers when I finally gave him a chance, also wrestlemania VI were I watched him go through four wrestlers to finally win the WWF title. By the breakup of the Mega Powers leading into the wrestlemania V I was a full fledges "Macho maniac". As I grew up my love for wrestling would dwindle but not because it was "Fake" but because the WWF had lost most of its major Stars and I'm Sorry Brett the Hitman never did it for me as a main guy. It wasn't until 1998 were I rediscovered my love again and the Madness was still relevant still going against Hogan and the newly formed N.W.O. Eventually he would join but you know he didn't need to be with them it was more forced.

As the wrestlemanias came to DVD I was able to revisit the ones I was too young to watch or unable to watch because PPV was too expensive for my mom to get me. I finally got to the Epic Wrestlemania III and I was looking forward to watching the clash of titans between Hogan and Andre the giant but on the way there I seen the most amazing match ever Macho Man vs. Ricky Steamboat. At the conclusion of this Match I was changed, Not only did I have a new appreciation for wrestling but both of these wrestlers would move to the top of my list. Macho Man was more than a catch phrase his signature shades and bandana his wrestling attire and flying elbow off the top rope were iconic. He lived his life for us to see From battling George the animal Steele over the wonderful Miss Elizabeth to getting married at summerslam. Randy Savage will always live on in my memories and i hope he is happy in the great top rope in the sky.

So yesterday was my first time at the movies this year. Not sure weather Ive been to busy or that no movie really caught my attention, Yes i know i need to watch avatar. A gang of movies are coming out this month I'm excited about "Wolfman", "shutter island", and of course "the crazies" but that ain't until next week, so this movie was picked only cause of Mel Gibson alone. Watching the preview i was thinking "Man on fire" , or a "taken" type of movie but i was surprised. This movie is cold blooded old school avenging your death type movie and even thou it was a unbelievable premise Mel Gibson made you believe it. this movie is dope if you got nothing else to do and you waiting for them other movies like i am, I could sit here and breakdown the movie more but why its pretty clear cut, i give it 2 in the pink.

2009, let me tell you about this year and I'm get personal its been a bitch i thought 2008 was trying but this past year put everything i had to the test, and not only me. I had a my significant other fight off cancer big props to her she didn't even break a sweat doing it. Went through this whole d.u.i fiasco paid hella money and let me give you some advice that you never heard before DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! and my family fought off foreclosure which was a battle all in it self with lawyers and banks. and between all those i was unemployed trying to figure out what was my next step. Of course others went through more and some probably had a great year but for the most part the people i knew had a pretty shitty year. I got a job now maybe not the best job but work, things seem to be settling down at home epically with the new nephew and my relationships with people have been getting stronger.

So with all that 2010 is not a new start its no blank slate we living the same shit and we the same people, but i wanted to change the way i approach things. Never in my life have i giving 100% in anything always half ass and even though i got results they could have been a lot better. This year is the year of 100% in everything i involve myself in weather its work, my music, or just living life its gonna be 100%. So to all my people weather i see you often or not, weather i done fucked with you in the past or been good to you know that Breakadawn juan is trying to better himself and i hope you try too.

First of all for those that were disappointed about the fact that this movie was all fake or didn't like the movie because it was pushed as real events should stop being so gullible. Its Hollywood baby! not some history channel documentary. So its about a psychologist lady that husband had died during a investigation of weird occurrences that were happening in Nome Alaska. after his death she decide to continue the study with a group of patients and the similarities that the group begins to describe in there sessions is spooky. I dug the movie it had a different style to it, the way they weaved in what was supposed to be actual footage with the movie and all the taped hypnosis sessions had me on my toes. Plus the theater was freezing and i got spooked by the usher. Paranaormal Activity/ Marin brewing company

So it was like two weeks back and i turned on the TV late night when i saw this quick ass commercial about this movie that was only released in a couple areas. i forgot about it till like middle of last week and seen it was playing at four places in the bay area so we went to check it out. So from the get it's one of those reality t.v. type movies like Blair witch but in this one it was a couple and one of them was being tormented by the paranormal since like age 8. This movie was the collected tapes of the events that happened to the couple. I had no expectation going into it so i was up for whatever as long as it was different which aside from the never ending build up it was with the effects and all. There was a couple freaky parts that had me going but i spent most of my time hella mad at the boyfriend. its a cool movie better than anything else out right now but don't go in expecting to run out scared. i give it a solid 1 in the pink

Marin Brewing Company: After the movie we went to this restaurant which i heard a lot about from people i know. when u first walk in they got a big display showing off awards they got for there beer. It was the afternoon so we got seated quick and the waitress attended us right away. I got the Mt. tam burger which had avocado bacon cheese you know the works and she got a bar b Que chicken sandwich with garlic fries. Both of the plates where good my burger was cooked right cheese was melted and the avocado was green and her chicken was a huge slice and crazy amount of garlic on the fries but the real topper was the bread the used it was crunchy but still soft. of course this being a brewing company we had a couple i had this dopple on which was good and came in a dope cup and she had this nice light what the called Hefe. this place gets 2 in the pink and for those that know me yes i took the cup!

Zombieland

Weather you like or hate zombie movies this one is gonna appeal to you. I walked in thinking it was gonna be the worst movie of the year but I'm a loyal zombie lover so i had to watch it any way, but out the gate this movie made me laugh and satisfied my film blood lust. In a world that has been overran by zombies 1 nerd has survived by using a set of rules that taught me a couple things i never thought about like cardio! as of right now i would die. He meets up with Woody Harrelson who is a bad ass zombie killer and that red head from superbad that with a shotgun and dark hair looks pretty hot. They start of on a bad note but after a while they begin to trust each other until one makes a decision they would regret. Blood, laughs, and dope slow motion killing really you cant ask for more. 2 in the pink

Reakwon Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2

So this album was rumored to come out bout a year ago and it was supposed to be produced all by Dre. I also heard Rea got put on the back burner by dre fuck it. This album topped to bottom is the strongest release not only from the Wu but from New York, and don't say shit about red cafe. The Rza Alchemist Mathematics and i think some other in house producers hook this album up with a classic but updated Wu sound the shit slaps and gives you that grit feel. Some heavy hitters came out to guest appear Jadakiss Styles P and busta along with the Wu members of course and each brought some heat. The only downside was the two dre tracks, the beats were simple ass piano loops that just slowed down the groove no wonder why the put them on the bottom. This being my first CD i bought in a bout 3 years I'm hella happy with it, matter of fact i think I'm start buying again...maybe not. 2 in the pink

the boilerhouse resturant/ Extract

The Boiler House Restaurant: So i looked over that contra Costa Marketplace mag that comes every month and i seen a article talking about The Boiler house. To be real the article didn't say shit and the website was vague also, but since it was the middle of the week we said why not. Driving there was not hard at all kind of confusing once you get into the lot but just following the sings help you get there, once we walked in a dude that was a mix between Ben savage and shia labeouf greeted us and explained what was the process. Since it was lunch it was self seating and the menu was kind of small but it had the basics. I got a Chicken sandwich which lacked mayo maybe i should have asked but...what you gonna do, they had tomato, lettuce and onions on the side and some real tasty in and out style fries, what really made up for the lack of BBQ sauce or mayo was a real nice mustard they had on the table oh yeah they forgot the cheese. She had a club sandwich with some real good turkey and ham on sourdough bread. overall the meal was koo the service was right and the price for the meal was very affordable.

Extract: we was gonna watch inglorious but i didn't feel like hearing people use hip dialog in WWII. So we decide on extract luckily the girlfriend of a good friend of ours was working and she gave us a pass today and I'm glad she did. The movie was koo but the first 15 minutes was pretty much the trailer except for this funny scam mila kunis pulled on some guitar center douche bags. The rest of the movie was slow with funny spots here and there. there was nothing that really stuck out and its a movie that you could wait for DVD. 1 in the pink

Halloween 2

So we went out to celebrate my boys birthday he wanted to check out Halloween 2 which i was excited about since the first one was great. It was a let down, i guess rob zombie tried to get all deep on this one but got away from the root of those movies which is kill kill and more killing. The Begining grabbed you Cause it was fast pace and lots of dead bodies real old school, but then she woke up which i felt was gonna happen. Then it had this white horse deal with the mom and a psychic mental connection between Micheal myers and his sister. The shit was dumb i get what he was trying to do but he did too much keep it to the basics. 1 in the stink

"the goods" and Ground Round chicken wings

The Goods: So this movie was being pushed hard cuz of Jeremy Piven (you know the dude from "entourage" or for those that seen the movie P.C.U). The promotion was so huge that he went on Monday night Raw which second to Monday night football is the best way to start off the week. I'm not saying i had big expectations but i did. With a number of strong comedy movies that came out in the past year i thought this was gonna be another but... it missed. It started off strong introducing all the characters in a funny way but towards the middle they started to reach to far with they jokes trying to make you laugh by using weird references. i could see how it would be hard to follow so many funny movies that kept setting the bar high and try to provide new ways to laugh but they tried way to hard. I laughed out loud a couple times especially at the man band but i see this as a wait for DVD movie. 1 in the pink

Ground Round Chicken wings: After the movie we ended up at ground round I have no idea how this place keeps open i never see it packed and i never hear anyone talk about it, if you do let me know. She had some pasta dish which seemed koo but i had the Chicken wings now let me tell you a secret they 35 Cents each, everyday from 3-7 but they only let you get two flavors, also make sure to mention it cuz its not advertised anywhere on the menu you have to be in the know or read the banner outside the restaurant. With this deal i had to overindulge to give it a number 24 DAM! there were like 6 flavors to choose from 3 different hot sauces a teriyaki a honey BBQ and i think a garlic Parmesan. They were brought out quick nice crispy and hot but...the sauce was drizzled and if you a chicken wing fan then you know they need to be tossed and coated with sauce, these had bald spots which wasn't bad but...you know. I had the half teriyaki which was no good to salty and the honey BBQ which was great. overall with the quick service and the good wings i give it a 2 in the pink.

so I'm hella happy about the launch of the new website. It ain't much right now but the fact that willy will made a splash page in a matter of ten minutes and it looks like it do speaks volumes of how it gonna look in the future. Scoma's and the Tonga room Fairmount hotel

On Saturday i went on a special occasion dinner and we decided to go to Scoma's at Fisherman's wharf in San Francisco. The wharf was packed on this hella nice Saturday but luckily this place had free valet parking and with a good tip dude gave us VIP parking. We didn't wait no longer than 15 minutes which gave us time for drinks at the bar I had a Manhattan on the rocks a classic she had a cran and vodka but man i forgot how much drinks were when he told me the total i flinched a little. Beside the cost of drinks which isn't their fault everything else was dope. The waiter was coo and the food was hella good i had the PASTA DIPLOMATICA, which was a pasta with white sauce and lobster tails and all other kind of seafood off the hook every bite had some sort of fresh seafood in it. She had the PASTA FISHERMAN'S STYLE which she enjoyed too both plates were huge, real big portions absolutely no complaints. 2 in the pink great service great food and portions check it out!

After that we went to the Tonga room at the fairmount hotel. Bobby fresh momma works in the hotel and she said to go check it out. Even on a Saturday night which seemed really busy for them we got seated quick. There was a live band playing some real feel good music they sounded great. The only deal was they kind of tucked us in the corner so we couldn't see the band but it wasn't a big deal. I started off with a Zombie and she had the classic Mai tai both drinks were tasty and strong which was great. we had a second round which i have to note because drinks are not cheap which was koo for two rounds no more than that. the second round was a bora bora horror and she had a Strawberry Daiquiri, we were pretty tipsy by this point. 2 in the pink the setting is dope the drinks are great but just watch the tab it can get out of control quick.

I Know the whole point to this blog is to go to the movies first and to try fast foods first but i just haven't been able to. But what has happened is the construction of my new website www.breakadawnjuan.com I'm pretty happy and excited about the whole project. Also I'm making out my fist press kit to pass out to the magazines, radio station, and most important music labels. what i could do real quick is run down a couple of movies i rented and give u a quick rating on them.

American Street Idols: a doc about the bums on skid row in L.A it could of been done waaaaayyyy better. Some of the bums where funny but the interview crew was weak. 1 in the stink

I love you, man: funny had me laughing a few times and wasn't like the rest of them that don't know how to end. It stayed strong, but don't think on the terms of Grandma's boy think of a adult superbad. its a good movie to rent. 2 in the pink

The Soloist: This shit was good. I thought it was gonna be all super drama trying to make you cry but nope it was cool about it, just working on the story and showing that Jamie foxx is a real good actor. 2 in the pink

Obsessed: Garbage and not because of beyonce she was in it for only 20 minutes at the end. The story been done except now they make the guy a real victim. In the early 90's dude would have hit it then felt sorry now dude is all like "NO! get that fine booty away!" i don't buy it. Now on beyonce she just do too much. At times it seemed natural but most of it was just laid on too thick. 1 in the stink

Public enemies

i was gonna write today about my experience at the restaurant strings in El Cerrito but i had such a overwhelming need to tell you more about "public enemies", this movie stared johnny depp and a pretty deep cast of well known actors. i went in expecting a decent gangster movie since thats the way they were selling it but boy did they come up short. This is far from a gangster movie it was a romantic mellow drama about the old school gangster john dillinger and his love and how he swooped in and saved her, with a bank robbery and a shootout blended in every half hour so that would make 5 since this shit was 2 1/2 hours long. Every sceane was dragged out trying to build tension but when the feeling had built they continued, making you say come on already. There was no charecter build so you could careless when depp died or when anyone else died. I could go on and on bout this wackass movie but i figure you get the point so iam gonna give a big thumb in the stink.

oh and if your curious about the resturant it was good, I had one bad experience prior but they redemed themselves so they get 2 in the pink.

I also wanted to mention that she is done with chemo and she really showed how strong she could be no matter what she is facing

UFC 100

Now i ain't gonna sit here and do break downs of the fights like i know what i am talking about but i am gonna talk on the entertainment value. UFC 100 from the get go had good matches each one better than the next, not to much on the ground 2 fights standing up a good amount of blood. As i was indulging in some homemade nachos which were great i was cheering the whole time. Brock Lesnar made the night first by not shacking hands at the beginning of the fight and then after pounding in Frank Mir face he gave the crowd the finger and told a sponsor to go to hell... I loved it. So I am give UFC 100 a 2 in the pink.

This will be my first official review so let me start off by saying thank you for taking time out of your day to read it. i have created a rating system that you may have noticed from my facebook page and it goes like this 2 in the pink means it great 1 in the pink means its alright and 1 in the stink means its terrible. i will review all kinds of things from music, restaurants, fast food, and of course movies.

So we gonna start off with the movie "Bruno". It stars the dude from "Borat" and "Ali G" and if you seen both then you kind of had a feel of what kind of comedy he was doing. His last movie Borat was a hit and had me and all my folks dying so going into this movie I knew i was gonna have a good time butt and yes i do realize i spelled it wrong it caught me off guard. From the beginning it was real graphic with all kinds of gay stuff butt it was funny. After noticing a couple of people walk out and not return i then made my mind up that not only was this movie hilarious but it was definitely not for everyone. So all that being said i am gonna give it my first official 2 in the pink thou for this movie 1 in the stink seems more appropriate
